A list of these working bodies, including contact persons, is given in the table below.<\/p>\n<p>For more detailed information on the meetings of the EC working bodies, please visit <a href=\"mailto:radaeu@unmz.gov.cz\">radaeu@unmz.gov.cz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Membership and priorities of the European Commission<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The current European Commission was approved by the European Parliament on 27 November 2024 and took office on 1 December 2024, thereby commencing its five-year term. The President of the College, Ursula von der Leyen, implemented changes to the EC\u2019s organisational structure and appointed individual Commissioners as heads of project teams responsible for specific policy portfolios. Valdis Dombrovskis (Latvia) will lead trade and economic affairs within the Commission, energy policy and housing issues by Dan J\u00f8rgensen (Denmark), whilst Henna Virkunnen (Finland) is Executive Vice-President for Technological Sovereignty, Security and Democracy. The internal market portfolio is led by St\u00e9phane S\u00e9journ\u00e9 (France). The Czech European Commissioner, Josef S\u00edkela, is responsible for the international partnerships portfolio. Details of the Commission\u2019s composition, its working methods and the distribution of portfolios among individual Commissioners are set out at <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/about\/organisation\/college-commissioners_en?prefLang=cs\">the EC website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On 21 October 2025, the European Commission published its <strong>Work programme for 2026 entitled \u201eEurope\u2019s Independence Moment\u201c<\/strong>, which focuses on building a stronger and more sovereign EU with an emphasis on security and competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The main objectives of the EC's work programme for 2026 are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sustainable prosperity and competitiveness<\/li>\n<li>Defence and security<\/li>\n<li>Social model and innovation<\/li>\n<li>Quality of life<\/li>\n<li>Democracy and the rule of law<\/li>\n<li>Global engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information on the European Commission programme, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/strategy-and-policy\/strategy-documents\/commission-work-programme\/commission-work-programme-2026_en\">Commission work programme 2026 - European Commission<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"zastoupeni-na-jednanich-pracovnich-organu-ek\">Representation at meetings of EC working bodies<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1.
