{"id":564,"date":"2024-05-15T10:16:05","date_gmt":"2024-05-15T08:16:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unmz-wp.e-bs.cz\/?page_id=564"},"modified":"2026-01-21T10:12:23","modified_gmt":"2026-01-21T09:12:23","slug":"committee-for-technical-trade-regulations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/unmz.gov.cz\/en\/mezinarodni-vztahy\/wto-tbt\/vybor-pro-technicke-prekazky-obchodu\/","title":{"rendered":"Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span class=\"vyskyt\">Committee<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Technical<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Barriers to<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Trade <\/span><\/strong> is one of thirteen separate\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Committees<\/span>\u00a0working within the WTO\u00b4s Council for Goods and\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\"> Trade and was established under Article 13 of the Agreement on\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Technical<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Barriers<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">to Trade (TBT)<\/span>, which is an integral part of the Agreement establishing the World Trade Organisation (WTO).\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Committee<\/span>\u00a0shall be composed of representatives of each of the Members of the Agreement and shall meet as necessary, at least once a year, but normally three times a year, to enable the Members of the Agreement to consult on any matter relating to the scope and implementation of the Agreement and to carry out the duties conferred on it by this Agreement or by the Members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The responsibility for the implementation of the Agreement in the Czech Republic belongs to the Office for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (\u00daNMZ), which implies, among other things, the obligation to elaborate, in cooperation with all interested entities at the national level, and present the views of the Czech Republic on the issues of its implementation and application to the European Commission, which represents individual EU Member States at the Committee's meetings.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The activities carried out by \u00daNMZ in the area of the Agreement on\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Technical<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Barriers<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"vyskyt\">Trade<\/span> implemented, is detailed in more detail\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unmz.gov.cz\/en\/urad\/wto-tbt\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">under WTO\/TBT<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">More detailed information is available on this website:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wto.org\/english\/tratop_e\/tbt_e\/tbt_e.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/www.wto.org\/english\/tratop_e\/tbt_e\/tbt_e.htm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The following information is related to the activity <span class=\"vyskyt\">TBT Committee<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Session <span class=\"vyskyt\">TBT Committee<\/span> TBT in 2026:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 -
