{"id":589,"date":"2023-12-27T18:30:39","date_gmt":"2023-12-27T17:30:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unmz-wp.e-bs.cz\/?page_id=589"},"modified":"2025-01-27T11:13:14","modified_gmt":"2025-01-27T10:13:14","slug":"ehk-osn","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/unmz.gov.cz\/en\/mezinarodni-vztahy\/ehk-osn\/","title":{"rendered":"UNECE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UNECE Working Group on Regulatory Cooperation and Standardisation (WP.6)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/trade\/wp6\/introduction\"><strong>Working Group <\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has existed in various formats since 1970 and has been one of the working groups of the Steering Committee on Trade Capacity and Standards since 2015 <a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/trade\/sctcs-about\">(Steering Committee on Trade Capacity and Standards)<\/a>WP. 6 was established to promote regulatory cooperation, standardisation policies and activities that contribute to the reduction of technical barriers to trade and the promotion of sustainable development in all its dimensions - see <a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/objectives-and-mandate\">WP.6 policies, procedures and mandate.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"translation-block\">WP.6 activities are mainly aimed at developing recommendations for standard-setting organisations and policy makers (<a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/trade\/uncefact\/tf_recommendations\" target=\"_self\">v\u00edce zde<\/a>), providing a neutral forum for exchanging views and sharing experiences among all stakeholders and raising awareness of new challenges and trends related to standardisation and regulation (digitalisation, new technologies, gender equality, etc.). A brochure giving a more detailed overview of the main activities of WP.6 and its outputs is available (PDF, 220 kB) under this <a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2023-01\/WP6_2022-Brochure_English.pdf\" target=\"_self\">link<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>The following five sub-groups and initiatives work within WP.6:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/trade\/wp6\/groups\/ag-mars\">Market Surveillance Advisory Group<\/a> (MARS - Advisory Group on Market Surveillance)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/trade\/wp6\/groups\/grm\">Expert Group on Risk Management in Regulatory Systems<\/a> (GRM - Group of Experts on Risk Management in Regulatory Systems)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/trade\/wp6\/groups\/start\">Ad-hoc team of experts for standardization and regulatory techniques<\/a> (START - Ad-Hoc Team of Specialists on Standardization and Regulatory Techniques)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/gender-responsive-standards-team-specialists\">Expert team on gender equality standards<\/a> (GSRI - Team of Specialists on Gender Responsive Standards)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/trade\/wp6\/education-standardization\">Standardisation Education Initiative<\/a> (START-Ed - Initiative on Education on Standardization)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the period 2014-2022, when the representative of the \u00daNMZ served as the Second Vice-Chair of the WP.6, the Czech Republic had the opportunity to actively participate in the formulation of the guidelines for the work of this working group, agreed at the annual meetings of the WP and confirmed by the Steering Committee on Business Capacities and Standards. The mandate could not be extended for a further period due to procedural reasons, but the \u00daNMZ continues to represent the Czech Republic in WP.6 and to participate in the activities of the WG and its subgroups within its remit.<\/p>\n<p>Information on planned meetings of WP.6 and its subgroups and initiatives is available at <a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/info\/events\/unece-meetings-and-events\/trade\/wp.6%20meetings\">Here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Detailed information on WP.6 activities can be obtained <a href=\"https:\/\/unece.org\/trade\/wp6\">here<\/a>.
