{"id":11675,"date":"2025-09-26T11:42:58","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T09:42:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unmz.gov.cz\/?p=11675"},"modified":"2025-09-26T11:42:58","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T09:42:58","slug":"public-consultation-on-the-revision-of-eu-regulation-1025-2011-on-european-standardisation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unmz.gov.cz\/en\/verejna-konzultace-revize-narizeni-eu-1025-2011-o-evropske-normalizaci\/","title":{"rendered":"Public consultation \u2013 revision of Regulation (EU) No 1025\/2011 on European standardisation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The European Commission has launched <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/14511-Narizeni-o-normalizaci-revize_cs\">public consultation<\/a> on the planned revision <strong>Regulation (EU) No 1025\/2012 on European Standardisation<\/strong>, which constitutes the legal basis for the use of standards, in particular <strong>harmonised standards<\/strong>, This review, announced in the 2025 Competitiveness Compass for the EU, aims to ensure that standard-setting processes are <strong>faster and more affordable<\/strong>, especially for <strong>SMEs and start-ups<\/strong>, and thus strengthen <strong>EU competitiveness and technological sovereignty<\/strong>. Although the current Regulation has improved the provision of standards, significant problems remain regarding <strong>the speed and responsiveness of the system to innovation, balanced stakeholder participation, accessibility <\/strong>(harmonised)<strong> standards and the EU's influence on international standardisation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The consultation focuses in particular on <strong>standards developed in support of EU legislation and policies, including harmonised standards<\/strong> (and not other sectoral standards).<\/p>\n<p>The consultation is intended for<strong> to all interested parties<\/strong>, including business, civil society, European standardisation organisations, national standardisation bodies, consumers, research institutions, public administrations and others.<\/p>\n<p>You can participate in the consultation by filling in the online questionnaire, also available in Czech version <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/14511-Narizeni-o-normalizaci-revize\/public-consultation_cs\">here<\/a>, until 17 December 2025 at the latest.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Evropsk\u00e1 komise zah\u00e1jila ve\u0159ejnou konzultaci k pl\u00e1novan\u00e9 revizi na\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed (EU) \u010d. 1025\/2012 o evropsk\u00e9 normalizaci, kter\u00e9 p\u0159edstavuje pr\u00e1vn\u00ed z\u00e1klad pro vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed norem, zejm\u00e9na harmonizovan\u00fdch norem, na podporu pr\u00e1vn\u00edch p\u0159edpis\u016f a politik EU.
