{"id":11860,"date":"2025-11-14T14:11:23","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T13:11:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unmz.gov.cz\/?p=11860"},"modified":"2025-11-14T14:11:23","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T13:11:23","slug":"public-consultation-on-the-revision-of-the-new-legislative-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unmz.gov.cz\/en\/verejna-konzultace-k-revizi-noveho-legislativniho-ramce\/","title":{"rendered":"Public consultation on the revision of the New Legislative Framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 12 November 2025, the European Commission launched a public consultation on its \"Have your say\" portal on the revision of the New Legislative Framework (NLF), which provides the legal framework for products in the EU common market.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/14715-Product-legislation-ensuring-futureproof-rules-revision-of-the-New-Legislative-Framework-NLF-_en\">Product legislation - ensuring futureproof rules (revision of the New Legislative Framework - NLF)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The public consultation follows on from the evaluation of the NLF which took place between 14 July and 2 September 2025 and identified areas for improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Updating the NLF is necessary to integrate digital solutions into EU harmonisation legislation (e.g. through the introduction of a \u201edigital product passport\u201c), to support the EU's circular economy objectives and to improve the performance of notified bodies in product conformity assessment.<\/p>\n<p>The public consultation is open <strong>until 4 February 2026 and <\/strong>any legal entity or individual can participate.
