The Commission will analyse the results of the consultation and, in cooperation with <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/transparency\/expert-groups-register\/screen\/expert-groups\/consult?lang=en&amp;groupID=3838\">European Semiconductor Expert Group (ESEG)<\/a> propose a monitoring mechanism that will include the identification of appropriate early warning indicators of future supply chain failures, thereby preventing semiconductor supply crises.<\/p>\n<p>On 8 February 2022, the Commission published <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX:32022H0210\">Recommendations<\/a>to enable rapid and coordinated monitoring of the European semiconductor supply chain, focusing on risks that may disrupt, threaten or adversely affect supply.
