Cooperation with the Albanian Metrology Authority
As part of the TAIEX project, experts from the National Institute of Metrology (ÚNMZ) shared their experience with colleagues from the Albanian Directorate-General for Metrology (DPM). The main topic was the implementation of European metrology requirements, including the application of Articles 34 to 36 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU), which concern the free movement of goods.

On 16 April 2026, representatives of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation (O’ZTTSA), Director Akmal Jumanazarov and Head of the International Relations Department Abdulla Orifboev, met with senior officials and representatives of the specialist departments of ÚNMZ and ČAS to discuss the implementation of the signed Memorandum and priority areas of cooperation for the coming period. The meeting confirmed a shared interest in developing technical and economic cooperation between the two countries.
