Successful notification of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory to the USA and Canada

The Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Testing has recorded another significant success in the field of international recognition of Czech conformity assessment bodies. After last year's successful notification of the Brno-based laboratory AdemCo CZ, s.r.o. to the United States of America under the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules, ÚNMZ has now also successfully completed the process of its notification to Canada.

Both acts took place within the framework of mutual recognition agreements (MRA) between the European Union and third countries, namely the United States of America and Canada, and confirm the key role of the ÚNMZ in promoting Czech testing capacities on global markets.
