The Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Testing (ÚNMZ), through the EU and International Cooperation Department, continuously coordinates cooperation with European and non-European countries that wish to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with the Czech Republic in the areas of competence of the ÚNMZ, which are metrology, state testing and standardization.

Among the countries with which the IOM has so far established cooperation in some of its areas of competence within the framework of the above-mentioned principles are Azerbaijan, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. IOMZ is currently involved in the implementation of a project entitled "Technical assistance for QI actors in Georgia".
