Working bodies of the European Commission
ÚNMZ ensures representation of the Czech Republic in the working bodies of the European Commission - comitology committees and expert groups established by European legislation which fall within the remit of the Authority. A list of these working bodies, including contact persons, is given in the table below.

Membership and priorities of the European Commission
The current European Commission was approved by the European Parliament on 27 November 2024 and took up its mandate on 1 December 2024, thus beginning its five-year term. College President Ursula von der Leyen has made changes to the EC's organisational structure and has made individual Commissioners heads of project teams responsible for a specific thematic portfolio. Valdis Dombrovskis (Latvia) will lead trade and economic affairs within the Commission, Dan Jørgensen (Denmark) will head energy policy and housing issues, and Henna Virkunnen (Finland) is Executive Vice-President for Technical Sovereignty, Security and Democracy. The Internal Market agenda is led by Stéphane Séjourné (France). The Czech Commissioner, Josef Sikel, who succeeded Věra Jourová this year, will be in charge of the International Partnership agenda. Details of the EC's staffing, its working methods and the distribution of portfolios among the Commissioners are described on the EC website.
Dne 21. 10. 2025 zveřejnila Evropská komise svůj Pracovní program na rok 2026 s názvem „Europe's Independence Moment“, který je zaměřen na budování silnější a suverénnější EU s důrazem na bezpečnost a konkurenceschopnost.
Hlavní cíle pracovního programu EK na rok 2026 jsou následující:
